Bila bulan mengambang

This is not another ranting about how poetic a post can be. This is not another babble from yours truly. This is a story how a weekend should be enjoyed with laughter and joy. (Sorry guys. I'm having all the fun without you guys since you guys are busy with IELTS and so on).

At exactly last Friday, my sister gave me a call saying that she's in Sunway resort. Obviously it's a place where I can't dream of going anytime soon. She had this conference/convention with doctors around the world, so she was there for days. Kak Ayu asked me whether I want to join her at Sunway resort. And of course, I accepted it since I was trying to get away from Casa Subang as often as I could. And they bring little Ain too. They including my other sister, Kak Ifa and her husband, picked me up and bought me far away from Subang which I originally thought that we were going to Sunway, but heck, I don't mind going far away from Casa Subang anyway. The drive took me as far as Sungai Buloh, and there inside of nowhere, (I assumed it's a kampung around there), there this huge reastaurant, a Thai restaurant to be exact. The name? Can't remember. >.<
Ikan tiga rasa, I assume?

It was delicious, especially the Ikan tiga rasa. Yeah, of course. Everything will be delicious if you're really hungry. Anyways, back to Subang and straight to Sunway Resort.
Sunway pyramid view from the resort

I just took a pic. That's all.

It wasn't really much but at least I got the chance to get out from Casa Subang and stay at Sunway resort for a few days. The breakfast, was so delicious!

Ni ada pelbagai rasa.

Nasi lemak ni nampak je sedap. Tp ikan bilis masin nak mati!

Okay, I need to keep reminding myself not to keep posting about food. This blog is meant for rantings other things beside rantings about food. Next day, everyone went to Sunway Lagoon. Actually this is my first time entering Sunway Lagoon, and it's actually quite big since it has lots of theme park to choose from.
Teringat jam power rangers dulu-dulu

We went there around 3p.m and went back around 6p.m. It was worth the wetness and also the fun of watching Ain screaming happily. Dinner? We just ate Carls Jr. Although it was pricey, it did worth the money for it.

Yes, it is that big. And yes it is Rm20++

Haha, who's lying?

I went back Sunday evening, since my sister needs to go back to Kedah. I was partially sad since I'm not ready to go back to Casa! Nevermind then. We still need to go to school for another month and then it's GAGA time!! And yeah, yesterday I went with Laila to make a report about her missing identity. Another word for it, her IC went missing.

Balai polis USJ 8

I told Laila to mention it to Puan Asiah, but nothing happened. She just mentioned where the nearest station is and that's it. Nothing about helping her. I mean, as a warden, you have to at least be concern about the students. Nevermind that now, since the report had already been made. Anyway, just look at the police station. It looked like it's gonna crumble any minute now. To my surprise, they were building a new one next to it, which of course much more sophisticated than the current one.

Watak tambahan tu, masih tak paham-paham.

The Origin of Chom

OK, this might sound unimportant at all, but it did to me when people start sending signals off the line. Let's ask some question first about my nickname. How many of you guys believed the story from orientation of Taylors that my nick name is given by my grand ma? Hmm? I know this one girl would raise her hands. Haha, yes it's you aka' (cara Zayana) kure2. Hehe, joking only. LOL

Back to the main point, which is, my nick name wasn't given by my grand ma or any other members of my family, but it was given by a friend of mine. OK, I'll repeat my self again. It was given by my friend when I was back in my hostel days in MRSM Langkawi. You know, teenagers with crazy minded minds would come up with exactly anything to nicknamed their friends including BIMUK, BIGONG, CIMUK, and Chom. I wouldn't want to waste the time explaining what BIMUK, BIGUNG and CIMUK is and I'll leave it to your wildest imaginations to figure it out. Anyway, Chom or Com stands for the first part of the word Comel, which translated in English as Cute. It was given by a friend when I started to know him a little bit well. (OK, this might sound weird). Firstly, I was really reluctant to use the name at all, I mean come on, a guy with a nick name Chom would seriously impaired my first impression towards others right? But it didn't. Instead, it popularised me back in Langkawi. The name Chom spread like a wildfire in an instant week.

It's not just the students, but the teachers as well. Most of the would prefer to call me Chom to refer to me rather than calling my real name. I blame this mostly on my friends for mentioning the nickname to my teachers and I'm stucked with them calling me Chom (not that I hate it though) They did call me Akmal sometimes, but it really depends on the teacher. At least I got a good nick name compared to other nicknames which the meaning will not be revealed any time soon. So, from there, from Langkawi, I managed to let Taylors students or my new friends to use my nick name.

CHOM. Ini nickname orang beri. Orang itu, kamu sihat?

Camera roll, ready? Action!

Another hell of a week. I think most of us got this syndrome of I-have-lots-of-work-and-this-is-suppose-to-be-a-holiday thing right? Anyhow, we all are trying our best to do everything is the shortest time possible and I believe it's the same for everyone too. That's another story. Luckily I've finished most of the homework and all now left is legal studies test and els issue analysis interview this coming Monday. Another LAN test this Tuesday.

Seriously, what is the teacher doing to us?

By the way, we finished most of the filming for our LAN project and me and my group mates still need to finish the written assignment.

Let's all do our best!

To those whose week was happy and fun filled. I salute you. (Actually, I just watched Disaster Movie. It really was a disaster but, seriously it's funny.)

SPOILER WARNING!!

Some of the screen caps:

He's acting as Sarah Jessica Parker in Sex in the City and boy he was damn funny about it. Damn funny how he talks to himself like "I wonder if ... "

It's the Princess from the Enchanted. She's a total w**** in that movie. And absolute weirdo.

Now this is funny. Batman leaving the city using the rescue bus.

I'll recommend you guys to watch it but, it might not be that fulfilling either. But worth the money and time. Right guys?

What time is it? Time to.. hehe

Oh, aku tahu itu, Itu pun tahu aku.

Celoteh, bikin aku letih.
Taip itu, taip ini, kerja tiada bikin-bikin.
Kalau sudah tahu hidup itu palat,
Mengapa teruskan?
Itu tanda apa itu?

Tandanya, kita semua kuat,
semangat, dan tidak luntur,
keazamannya.
api lilin itu masih benderang,
tiup, hembus, kipas, humban saja keluar tingkap.
tapi kalau kental semangat api itu,
tidak mungkin lupus dek hembusan kasar,
letih, penat, dan capet.
tapi
itu tanda apa itu?

tanda kita banyak coba,
letih, terjatuh, tergolek-golek, luka sana, luka sini,
main lumpur, jatuh hati, patah hati, senyum girang,
jerit tawa, tangisan hiba, terasa hati tak semena-mena,
semuanya ada,
rasa-rasa 1000 kalipun kita suka-suka balik,
sebab hidup itu memang palat,
kerja kita untuk puas-puas sebaik-baiknya,
sebab, esok kalau ada, mesti nak coba sehabis bagus.

Betol kan kawan-kawan? :D

No use doing that now.

Is it time?

Who knows.

It might be the time.

Time to?

Oh, why you're asking?

It's just I'm curious.

Don't be, or rather, you don't need to be.

Why is that?

The less you asked, the clearer the path you'll see.

I don't understand.

As I said, you don't need to be.

15 things about me. Weird things actually. (Delayed telecast)

I was once tagged by a blogger friend of mine when I was first started to have my own blog. I don't know whether the person is a she or a he, but that guy had tagged me something about 15 facts about me. So, not so recently, another friend of mine had tagged me about something quite similar which is 15 weired things about me. Until now, I haven't really had done anything about it since I was quite busy a little back while ago, so here it is.

15 oh-that-is-soooooo weird things about me.

  1. I don't know how to start this now. Hmm, well you can say that I like to name things, non-living, non-breathing, non-reacting and any other non-pulsating things that I own. For example I named my N-Gage QD phone as "My Precious" since it was precious to me as precious as the ring to Gollum in TLOTR. I also named a few others;

    • My previous phone w880i, "Steelie", since it was made out of steel.
    • My current phone w910i as "Golden B", because the colour is golden brown.
    • My laptop is named as the "One with Processing Powers", since it was the main purpose that it would serve me for.
    • The pendrive I'm using is named as "Chom²" to indicate ownership.

I also used to named my other belongings but, oh well, I seemed to forgot what it is. :)

  2. I never like/love/will be eating seafoods other than fish. I'm not allergic to it nor I am afraid of it. It's the taste that I abhor so much. But if it's in the form of balls or cakes, I wouldn't mind eating eat. For example, shrimps. I hate it when it was cooked when it's still in the original form, but I wouldn't mind eating cooked shrimp balls. Talk about being picky. *sighed*

  3. I love to observe people's shoes. I believe shoes reflects the owner's personality or mood of the whole day.

  4. I love eating sweet whenever I feel down or sad. I believe this started back then when I was still studying in MRSM Langkawi where it had been the heaven of all chocolates with it's extremely cheap prices. Luckily, my teeth are still standing strong until now. Cheers!

  5. I'm a perfectionist. For certain parts only. I may look scrubby when I was in school or my room in Casa might be quite untidy sometimes, but you wouldn't know me if I'm back in my room in Kedah. I have a certain rules when I clean my room. For example, the length of my bed sheet must not exceed more than an inch from the original setting. This means, anytime when the sheet started to fall a little bit, I will remake my bed again, even if it's just one cm. And I usually plan my day ahead, so a little surprise into my schedule is sure to upset me. Try me. I dare you. Haha.

  6. I can't stand the smell of MURTABAK! NO! NO! PLEASE! Not another murtabak! But if it's durian? I'll savour it. :D

  7. I love how the rain drops. Don't you?

  8. I don't like football at all. I really not bothered with how Liverpool scores so big, or how Manchester Utd. is defeated by Chelsea and so on. For me, it's not worth the time to really follow all the football thing. I only watch other sorts of sports such as Tennis and Badminton.

  9. I was the youngest child of my family, but my friends said I look and act much more mature than the rest of my friends who are oldest child in their family. Truth is, I'm still young at heart. LOL.

  10. I like listening to the music without any interruption. Please don't, since it's gonna cost you your life.

  11. I don't like height and speed. I just can't stand it. It's dangerous! Seriously, what if I fall or the car crash into something? It would be sewiious. *It's how MingMing from Wonderpets pronounce it*

  12. I like to see how people make spaghettis. The reason is yet to be known.

  13. Hearing people talk in slangs or accents make me feel good inside. It is unexplainable since it depends on how would you really interpret it. Haha.

  14. I really love to see new places and learn new cultures, but I detest the whole process of traveling. I don't like to travel at all unless the time taken is short or the whole trip is really comfortable.

  15. Ok, that would be the ending of the endings of the weirdest things of all the weirdest things.
Ok, boys and girl. That would be all today. :D

It's the Quiz again.

Cultural_s_max200w

Cultural Traveler

See the world. Meet new people. For you, traveling is an unparalleled chance to see what makes the rest of the world tick. Curious and social, you get just as big a kick from chatting up locals as you do from visiting historic sites.

Different people, cultures, and landscapes help you appreciate what you have and also see the world from someone else's eyes. It's a learning experience you're after, so whether you find that in museums, ruins, or local markets, you're sure to come away with a new view or idea. Take it all in!

Passion_fruit_max200w

Playful Passion Fruit

Sunny, carefree, and a little bit of a prankster at times — your playful, passionate attitude is like a tropical paradise everyone wants to visit. You're definitely an original, unfazed by what others might think of your choices and ambitions. And that's a rare trait, my friend. In fact, it probably explains why so many of your pals are drawn to you. Well, that and your ability to have a good time with a real zest for life!

Your easygoing personality is also a welcome refreshment in the workplace. Must be because you refuse to sweat the small stuff. Or maybe it's your knack for keeping the big picture in mind while making sure things stay upbeat and on track. This confidence will take you far, if you so choose. But on the other hand, we wouldn't be surprised to see you close up shop and set sail for sunnier horizons. After all, life's too short to spend in a cubicle. And we think that upbeat attitude deserves a warm climate.

Insightful Linguist

Your IQ Score is: 131

You are gifted with the natural fluency of a writer and the visual and spatial strengths of an artist. Those skills contribute to your creative and expressive mind.

Insightful linguists can take complex concepts and articulate them to just about anyone. You have a gift with words and insight into processes and the way people think. These talents enable you to explain things clearly to people. Helen Keller is a great example of an Insightful Linguist. Blind, deaf and mute, she was still able to put things together in her mind and to understand complex ideas. She could do that because she was able to conceptualize ideas internally. Though she could not literally see, she had the visual and spatial skills necessary to understand patterns on an abstract level. She learned to read, write and ultimately became a writer on issues of social justice.

You have an uncanny ability to work your way out of sticky situations using your talent with words. Crossword puzzles, debates — you're particularly well equipped to come out on top since you can read people well.

Like Charles Dickens, your verbal skills go far beyond having a good vocabulary. Dickens' genius was in the artful and descriptive way he crafted sentences. Also Dickensian, is your keen eye for detail and your adeptness for identifying the best way to express an idea based on your given surroundings and circumstances.

Your ability to communicate your vision clearly will take you far. So enjoy being perceptive, and make the most of your abilities as an insightful linguist.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Anyway, these are just quizzes, so you might not have to take it all in. But the last one might be true for some cases. Hehe :D

Raya. Raya. I wish it'll last a year

*Music coming from earphone* "Rasalah ketupat ini, Dengan rendangnya sekali, Sudilah rasa kuihku, Pilihlah yang mana satu"

I was told by Kak Ayu (bukan kakak yang perasan ayu, ya?) to buy my own clothes for raya in Subang Jaya. Well, I can't think of any other ways to buy my own things other than going back to Alor Star and buy from the shops that I'm already familiar with. Ok, not that I went to lots of shop to buy my clothes that is. :)

Anyhow, the first day after I arrived in Kedah, me and Kak Ayu and her daughter, Cik Ain went to this mall, (name of the mall will be kept confidential and will be mentioned upon request) and it was full! It was full of outsiders, not the regular Kedahan customers. It took us 10 minutes just to get a parking spot which requires me to step out of the car and bluntly stand on a parking space just to get rid of unwanted people since we're not the only ones doing the last minute shopping.

Inilah Cik Ain yang suka "demand". Dia tidak suka dicium di pipi. Hantu vitagen

Luckily, I already bought a few clothes at Summit before going back, so I didn't really need to buy a few more. It was the jeans that I need the most, so I grab one, and try it on. It was cool, really, so I had Kak Ayu to quickly pay for it, which means, no duit raya this year. Sadly enough, as I'm getting older, the less the amount of duit raya people seemed to give to me, or they pretend that they forget, or they pretend I'm too old already, whichever applies first. *sighed* But, hey, no duit raya doesn't mean that I can't enjoy the whole festive season right? Who cares about the money? I do.. I'm enjoying it with my family and it was really enjoyable since everyone was there to celebrate it together.

I do have the family pictures, but it wasn't with me, so no family pictures then.

Raya morning at Masjid Al-Bukhary

I wasn't expecting this sea of people. Must be outsiders.

It's big. Dengan bangganya megatakan ia lebih besar dari Masjid Putrajaya. Heh :D

Tok sebelah Mak. Pusat nak bermanja.

Mom's Daugther. Heh :D

Ain, seksi sedikit di hari raya.

Oh, not to forget, I got loads of greetings this year from friends. And the ones that really gets me going are,

Selamat hari raya, maaf zahir batin dari najah, suami dan anak-anak. -najah-

Selamat hari raya, maaf zahir batin. Sori aku x pandai wat sms yg lawa2. - Qayyum -

SELAMAT HARI RAYA PEOPLE!! lets "kikis" every penny of our relaties fr duit raya until they so regret having 2 know some1 like us (*oh-k dats a joke) ngaa XO bt yeah. ohh n my apology fr any shits I've done. so there. HAVE FUN EATING N LOVE U PEEPS!!
-Nik & Aiman- (whoever copies who first).

Ok that's about it I guess.

Happy Raya everyone!
