yours faithfully, adelaide.

the moon shines might and bright,
on the backyard of my hometown,
and as i gaze through the night,
everything i breathe is home-bound
though the air is cruel and chilly,
let it seeps through my bones,
though this moment might be silly,
i know i’m not all silently alone
for every dream,
i dream a never ending memory,
about you and me.

adelaide,
you and her,
there’s not much to differ.

for the roads are still roads,
even when the roads are full of toads,
and if the wind caress my face gently,
so it does in a foretold melody,
you and her,
there’s not much to differ.

for the sky is shared together,
from here to wherever,
and if i ever feel somewhat alone,
i’ll gaze the skies with my chilly bones,
hoping you’ll do the same,
remembering me and my name.
for you is a distant calling,
back where i was still a boy,
and not much with the silent melody,
about you and me.

adelaide,
you and her,
there’s not much to differ.
