Coffee beans? What's that gotta do with me now? No, no, coffee beans are something that I've recently discovered(not that I've never heard of it before, mind you :D) after watching Martha Stewart show, (I did watched Martha Stewart, God!) sadly because lack of any television programs that could make me feel attractive towards the television. For those who haven't got the chance to know what exactly coffee beans are, well, coffee beans is the seed of the coffee plants (which is a pit inside the reddish, or purplish fruit). The fruit, which is a coffee cherries or berries to some people and places, consists of two stones with their flat side together (whatever that means :P). The name coffee beans derives from Arabic language though the name bean is not exactly correct in the terms of botanically. Coffee, is the seed of a fruit not a vegetable.
They're many types of coffee beans that exist in this world.Species of coffee plant include Coffea arabica, Coffea benghalensis, Coffea canephora, Coffea congensis, Coffea excelsa, Coffea gallienii, Coffea bonnieri, Coffea mogeneti, Coffea liberica, and Coffea stenophylla. The taste of these coffee beans would be different as well, depending where are they cultivated and how are they cultivated. And of all the beans listed, Coffee Arabica consists of 75% of coffee trades around the world. And adding to that, coffee beans is the second largest trade in this world, after the mainly tradable item, which is the oil.
Pushing away the fact that I rarely get any drinks made from roasted coffee beans, I do enjoy sipping them once in a while with friends to reminisce my past days with them and my favourite would be lattes and espressos. The aroma of the coffee is much more energetic compared to the aroma of the tea, mainly the coffee beans rival, nemesis or any other name appropriate XD. I would always think that tea would always rival best with coffee, don't you think so?
